Sunprime Protaras Beach 2025

This report tracks progress across 2022–2024 and compares the 2024 results to the hotel’s 2024 targets. It summarizes environmental performance (energy, water, chemicals, waste & recycling), procurement, people, and community actions, then concludes with key comments. Travelife is an international sustainability certification that promotes sustainability in the tourism sector. Our hotel has received the Travelife Award and this certification is regularly extended following an intensive audit every year. We are actively working with environmental and sustainability issues by following Travelife’s comprehensive criteria. Our hotel is committed to responsible hospitality: we reduce greenhouse gas emissions by cutting energy and water use, minimizing waste, and offering lower-emission food choices; we protect and support biodiversity by preventing pollution and safeguarding local nature and wildlife; we uphold and respect human rights with zero tolerance for discrimination, exploitation, or harassment and by ensuring fair, safe, and equitable workplaces; and we safeguard children by actively preventing exploitation or abuse and promptly reporting and responding to any suspected incidents.

Presentation of Hotel Facilities

Sunprime Protaras Beach is located at Fig tree bay in Cyprus. The hotel was built in 2018 and extends over an area of 5,500 m2 plot of land.

  • Ground floor with Enalion restaurant, spa, fitness area and indoor swimming pool. Also it houses the back of the house areas (main kitchen, storerooms, staff areas)
  • First floor with Gym, hotel rooms, offices, housekeeping facilities
  • Second floor with reception, lobby bar, lounge area, mini kiosk and hotel rooms
  • 6 floors of rooms
  • Gardens with olive trees and ficus
  • Fitness & Spa rooms and Gym
  • Enalion restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and Sands beach restaurant (lunch, dinner)
  • One outdoor swimming pool and one indoor swimming pool

Sunprime Protaras Beach accommodates approximately 5,450 guests with a team of 65 employees during the summer season (period April–October).

  • Majority of guests come from Nordic countries
  • Employees are mainly locals, with a small number of Nordic staff to cover Spa and Fitness

NLTG´s supplier code of Ethics and Conduct sets out the minimum standards of business behaviour expected of Suppliers, who must have processes in place to monitor and maintain these standards, including within their own supply chains. Suppliers must comply with child protection laws, including United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the international Labour Organization Convention Numbers 138 and 182. Suppliers must also comply with local laws regarding the mini mum age of employees and all legal requirements for the work of authorised young workers, particularly those relating to hours, wages and safe working conditions.
